SDSU Connect
Welcome to the San Diego State University Connect System. The Connect System will allow you to receive email and text messages from your instructors.
1. First Time Users – Click the "Sign Me Up!" link.
2. Enter your First Name and Last Name, Email Address, and create a Password.
3. Click Continue – An email confirmation will be sent to you. You must respond to this by clicking the link in this email.
4. After clicking the link in your email, you will be asked to answer a three security questions in the Connect System. You will then be asked to provide your Identification Code and a prepopulated contact point. Please use your RED ID as your Identification Code and your SDSU email address as the contact point then click Associate.
5. Once you have confirmed association with the portal on the "Viewing Preloaded Data" screen click Next.
6. On the "Tell Us About Yourself" screen please choose Add Phone and add your mobile phone number checking the text option to receive text messages. Click Next.
7. On the "Update Your Subscriptions" screen, please make sure Outreach is selected and any other groups you may want to subscribe to are checked.
8. On the "Update Your Preferences" screen you can edit your contacts points for the applicable message types and groups.
9. Click Done.
